On December 16, 1976, when Lorenzo Carter was called into the ministry, he answered God’s call with sincerity and conviction. Presently, he is the devoted pastor of the Center Ridge Baptist Church, Inc. in Shubuta, MS; a position he has held since 1980. He is also the executive director of the New Beginnings Fellowship Center, Inc. which was established in 1999 as a facility dedicated to the empowering of the family through education, economics, and recreational activities. He is also the founder of Good News Gospel Today Ministries Broadcast; a weekly television broadcast ministering to people in Lauderdale County, MS and surrounding areas.
